OB Fractional Plate

Description

The OB Fractional Plates by LEGION Equipment are metal plates of small dimensions, which are covered by a layer of rubber (they are also called micro loads).

This product can be really useful because it allows to fractionate the weight to be lifted. Thus, abrupt weight variations (caused by loading with larger plates) can be avoided in favour of more gradual increases.

The different colorations and the weight label make these fractional plates easy to identify.

The 50 mm central hole, makes this plates really easy to insert on plates-loaded machines and on any kind of Olympic barbell. Even though the plate does not have a steel ring, it possesses a rubber film. This feature generates friction when in contact with the barbell, thus reducing annoying plate movements and oscillations during exercises.

Micro loads are fundamental for excercises such as squat, deadlift, bench press and barbell curl.
